Homeowners Association Very Happy!
When we started the Highland’s project we were working with the homeowners Association for the Development. Needless to say I wasn’t sure how that would work out. They had been dealing with an abandoned project for a couple of years and none to happy with things. Read the comments below on their take on our work. And know we approach every job with the goal of a satisfied client in mind!

Finished Project Photos! ( ok not great I took them..)
I went to the Highlands job yesterday just to walk through and take a few photos and check on any touch up we might need to do. Spring is beginning up there and the day was lovely. Our landscaper did a great job and my biggest regret on the trip was that my photography cannot do justice to the work my team did. I am proud of my men and our company on this job. It is difficult to take on the problems of another but it was done in a professional and timely fashion. This is a 4400 SF 4 bedroom 6 bath home. If we can help you with an addition, remodel or completion do not hesitate to call and as always all estimates are free. no job too small or too large (so far)

Job finished ! on time and within budget!!
Well we got the final inspections on the Bee Tree project the week of 3/25 . On time and within budget! Now we are awaiting the out of state owner reps to come in and do a walk through. I will be posting a bunch of completion pics in the next couple of weeks to show off a job I am proud of. A foreclosure completion can have a lot of undisclosed problems but we have handled them all rather easily with no complaints . If you have a job you would like quoted please do not hesitate to contact us. All quotes are free of course and we have the credentials and references to back it up with! We are members in good standing of the Asheville Home builders Association, Chamber of Commerce, Better Business Bureau and the WNC Green Building Associations.
Slight flooring snag but handled with grace and professionalism….
Well the hardwood flooring and carpet is almost in with a hitch. The flooring installer lost his install sheet and as fate would have it we now have hardwood in the master bedroom , which was quoted carpet……………. to the floor companies great credit they took care of it and gave me the option for either at no additional charge so our customer got a free upgrade . however they will definitely get more business from me for the professional handling of the mistake. Which was not their own but they stood behind their subcontractors work. I appreciate Tastingers professional job and attitude the flooring looks great! If anyone needs hardwood or carpet flooring I would not hesitate to recommend Tastingers Floor Covering of Franklin NC.

Progress at 44 Bee Tree Job
Given the weather in Highlands NC I think the following accurately shows this past weeks progress…….
Painting,door and trim installation beginning
Well we had an inspection from the fellows at Precept property services . They are overseeing progress for the Bank of America on this project. All is well and they are happy (this is good). We have the painting going and are using the colors preferred by the good people at Sothebys who are reperesenting the sale of this home.
I have chosen the doors, we are using a crafstman style on this home and I chose the Jeld wen
solid style door , we will use an oil rubbed bronze hardware and round knob to accent the period style. These are the fun choices now digging the electrical service ditch this week…. not fun….
Creative problem Solving!
Well we had an interesting problem at the Highlands project. A patio door off the master bedroom called for it to open onto a balcony /deck above the garage door. The problem with this was the original contractor did not run the ceiling joists in the garage to allow for a
cantilevered floor joist to be extended so there is no practical way to accomodate the plans. Originally we were to close off the door and make it basically an non opening window wall.
Instead of this I had a local Asheville welder fabricate a faux balcony rail. In the end this gave us a better look and it allows for the use of the door as a vent or emergency egress if needed ! The decks are completed and we are finishing the final exterior touches. On the inside the drywall is well underway. We are working inside when the weather stops our exterior progress.
Ok , drywall makes for not very exciting pictures , but you gotta have it!

Window Replacement , New Decks almost finished!Fresh paint and gutters!!
Well we are making progress! The new Front Porch is finished with the exception of a couple aesthetic tweaks I will have done later. You can see the septic pump that was required, I had no choice on placement as this was partially done . We will hide it with landscaping.

A legal egress window on the second, Chimney cap to stop water infiltration a New coat of paint and gutters!
Also the window has been replaced with a casement window allowing for proper egress and vent. with a fresh coat of paint ,gutters and a proper chimney cap to prevent water its looking much better.
The exterior siding finished, a rock retaining wall in the rear and the rear decks/porch almost finished minus a wrap around step I want installed (you can see where we left one high step in the interim).
