Our customer wishes to make her home more representative of its construction period. So…. we removed all the vinyl on the front to see what we had….
We had old ,wet rotting shakes , YAY!! We set to removing those ,we took down the old porch ceiling, we had timbers to replace, flashing to install and we built new porch caps. We are leaving the vinyl on the side for now but going back with hardi siding and doing shake accents and a bead board porch ceiling . The old home has great bones but needs some love.
