Merry Christmas from Mountain Brook Homes and Gosh I’m so slack…
We have made a ton of progress on the Best job but I have been slow to post. The exterior is done but we are now going to do some changes for the customer per new selections . Power is on and heat so the work inside is getting finished, Working in PA in December is tough at best so kudos to the crew up there for all their hard work . The team from Gibson builders have been a pleasure to work with. Take a look at he recent progress , we should be done within the next three weeks !
Progress continues but rain and bad weather back
The PA house is progressing nicely as seen below. house is locked up drive redressed roof begun and skylights done. well is in and sitework almost 100%.
Progress continues the Set is done!!
Well the best house is progressing nicely , we did get it set just before Halloween but my blogging is at fault not the work progress. At this point the metal roof is begun,the well is in exterior begun and the house is locked up please see our efforts below, these are the set pics, more to follow!;
Mother Natures time table must be followed , regardless…
Well I had hoped to be in PA this week overseeing the set of the Best family home. Unfortunately rain is on the menu their for set date , we are shooting for one week out . In the interim the basement is 100% now and looks great!
Progress on Best Home,
Well last we spoke I had been contracted to build a home for the Best Family . At this point we have pulled the permits and have the foundation complete. This is a modular project , next week we take delivery and set the home so look for a quick updating from this point forward. oh and did I mention this project is in PA?? I was very flattered that the owner researched my company and wanted to work with me to design and draw his home for him from such a distance. The bad thing was that right after the site meeting Pa was inundated with rain.
This slowed progress but I hope all is back on track. I am working with Gibson builders in that area and Excel homes Inc. of PA is my modular supplier. I have worked with them on projects for years now and my own home is an Excel . I hope to get some of the new plans they have supplied me with up on the site very soon. for now take a look at this project as it unfolds!

New home being started!
We have just started the groundbreaking on a new home for the family Of Mr. and Mrs. Best. We are excited to and happy to get the job started and shooting for a finish date in Nov. see the custom plan below. also if you are looking to start a project we would love the opportunity to price it for you!
We will be using a metal roof, some skylights etc. but this is the starting point. This is based on the Bishop plan from the Excel Generations ranch series . You can view the original plan on our plans page or contact us and we will be happy to send you more info today.
Recent Garage project finished!
We recently built a garage to match an existing home/garage. Take a look and see what you think. The customers home was already beautifully appointed so our job to match what was there was a good challenge. The homeowner did a great job selecting colors and I think it came out great! Whats your opinion?
Also if you need any projects such as renovations , completions repairs or additions do not hesitate to contact us!
Homeowners Association Very Happy!
When we started the Highland’s project we were working with the homeowners Association for the Development. Needless to say I wasn’t sure how that would work out. They had been dealing with an abandoned project for a couple of years and none to happy with things. Read the comments below on their take on our work. And know we approach every job with the goal of a satisfied client in mind!
Dear Mr. Wallace, We have inspected the property and everything looks absolutely AMAZING!!!! Everyone has been commenting on how great the property looks. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me. Have a blessed Day, Crystal Corbin Member Services Administrator Cullasaja HOA www.cullasajahoa.org
Finished Project Photos! ( ok not great I took them..)
I went to the Highlands job yesterday just to walk through and take a few photos and check on any touch up we might need to do. Spring is beginning up there and the day was lovely. Our landscaper did a great job and my biggest regret on the trip was that my photography cannot do justice to the work my team did. I am proud of my men and our company on this job. It is difficult to take on the problems of another but it was done in a professional and timely fashion. This is a 4400 SF 4 bedroom 6 bath home. If we can help you with an addition, remodel or completion do not hesitate to call and as always all estimates are free. no job too small or too large (so far)
